Construction is the foundation. Everything else was built on top of it.
Construction has been Nolan Moore's work for more than two decades. His experience began in the field and grew through custom residential construction, design-build work, general contracting, project leadership, and business ownership. He ran crews while continuing to work alongside them. He worked directly with clients to develop ideas, scopes, layouts, and practical solutions, then carried projects through pricing, sequencing, field execution, and completion.
As the work became more complex, Nolan built the business systems needed to support it. He developed his own sales process, project structures, and operating methods, learning firsthand how projects are sold, planned, staffed, coordinated, and delivered.
Formal education has continued alongside the work. Nolan has pursued college coursework over the years in engineering and related technical and business disciplines, including mathematics, chemistry, economics, and accounting. That education has complemented a career built primarily through hands-on construction, business ownership, independent study, and practical problem-solving.
Technology has developed alongside construction for more than a decade through work in software, automation, connected and embedded hardware, physical product development, and technology for buildings and homes. The interest comes from the same practical instinct: understand how something works, identify where it breaks down, and build a better way to do it.
Real estate became another natural extension of the work. Evaluating a property well requires an understanding of the building, construction cost, improvement potential, execution risk, and long-term operation. Those factors shape both what a property is worth and what it can become.
Today these disciplines work together. Nolan remains active in construction through Beyond Natural Build while expanding his work in property, software, automation, and construction technology. He is a licensed California General Contractor and REALTOR®, with a perspective still grounded in building, execution, and the realities of the field.
